Dr. Sotiris Kalogirou is a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science and Engineering and has been working at the Cyprus University of Technology since 2008.
Dr. Kalogirou serves as the Deputy Secretary General of the EUt+ Central Coordination Committee, the CUT Scientific Coordinator for EUt+, Head of the EUt+ Coordination Center at CUT, and Chair of the Center’s Board.
He leads the Center’s management team and is responsible for the strategic management and coordination of EUt+ activities and Work Packages, as well as for supervising the staff supporting the respective Offices within the Coordination Center.
He is the visionary and driving force behind CUT’s participation in the Alliance for the creation of the European University of Technology (EUt+), which brings new opportunities to the university for multi-level networking and strategic collaborations with European universities, enhancing its international role and academic outreach.
