Last week, the members of the FRIEND-NOW project gathered at the EUt+ Coordination Center at TEPAK for a dynamic meeting that highlighted the project’s bold vision for the future of Telecommunications Engineering studies across Europe. FRIEND-NOW, an initiative by EUt+, is at the forefront of designing a Joint European Master’s Degree in Telecommunications Engineering. The program aims to offer a flexible, industry-oriented curriculum that not only addresses current academic and professional needs but also embodies core European values.

During the meeting, participants exchanged ideas and insights to ensure that the new curriculum meets the evolving demands of the telecommunications industry. Attendees stressed the importance of aligning academic content with practical, real-world applications, ensuring graduates are well-prepared for a competitive job market.

In a strong call for collaboration, the FRIEND-NOW team invites industry professionals, educators, and students to contribute to the program’s development. By completing a short survey—which takes just 5-10 minutes—stakeholders can help shape a curriculum that truly reflects the needs of the industry.
