EUt+ Student Startup Lab

The EUt+ Student Startup Lab is designed to foster entrepreneurship and innovation among the students, student alumni, and researchers within the EUt+ alliance. It provides a structured platform for aspiring student entrepreneurs to transform their innovative ideas into viable start-up ventures while benefiting from the extensive resources and expertise within EUt+.

The Student Startup Lab emphasizes continuous validation with real customers and focuses on supporting the following types of start-ups:

  • Student-Driven Teams/Solopreneurs: Teams/ Solopreneurs composed of EUt+ students (undergraduate, master’s, and PhD) aiming to launch their own start-ups. Interdisciplinary collaboration is highly encouraged.
  • Researcher-Driven Teams/Solopreneurs: Teams/ Solopreneurs developing technology-based start-ups originating from research projects, typically led by PostDocs, Researchers, or PhD students.

Goals

  • Fostering Innovation: Provide an environment where students can experiment with business ideas and develop them into tangible ventures.
  • Entrepreneurial Empowerment: Provide comprehensive support through mentorship, training, and access to critical resources, enabling students to navigate the entrepreneurial journey with confidence.
  • Strengthening Ecosystems: Build sustainable innovation ecosystems by linking students with industrial partners, researchers, and alumni networks to ensure long-term success and collaboration.
  • Driving Economic Growth: Facilitate the development of innovative start-ups and spin-offs that contribute to local and regional economies.
  • Enhancing Inclusivity: Attract and engage students from diverse disciplines and backgrounds, ensuring a multidisciplinary approach to entrepreneurship.
