On Thursday, November 6th, 2025, the university community of the Cyprus University of Technology, together with the staff and the head of the EUt+ Coordination Centre, celebrated five years of the institution’s participation in the European University of Technology (EUt+) Alliance.
The event provided a special opportunity to reflect on the most significant milestones and achievements of the University within the Alliance, highlighting the crucial role that participation in EUt+ has played in strengthening academic cooperation, student and staff mobility, as well as in fostering innovative and research initiatives.
During the event, Prof. Kalogirou, Head of the EUt+ Coordination Centre at CUT, gave a brief but meaningful presentation, emphasizing:
“Our participation in EUt+ is not merely a formal collaboration. It is a daily process of growth, learning, dialogue, and creation. Every student who takes part in a mobility program, every research collaboration that begins through the EUt+ common platform, every innovative project developed, and every piece of knowledge exchanged demonstrate the living value of this partnership.”
He also invited everyone to continue with dedication and enthusiasm, strengthening the shared vision for a Cyprus University of Technology that inspires, innovates, and offers the best to its student community, staff, and society.
The event concluded with food, drinks, and karaoke, providing a relaxed and enjoyable experience for all participants. Its success highlights the importance of CUT’s participation in the EUt+ Alliance and fills the university community with enthusiasm and optimism for the coming years of collaboration and growth.
