Celebrating International Mother Language Day: Embracing Multilingualism and Interculturality

The Language Center of the Cyprus University of Technology had the honor of hosting Dr. Argyro Moumtzidou to celebrate International Mother Language Day. The dynamic seminar brought together educators, researchers, and language teaching experts in an inspiring atmosphere that emphasized the importance of preserving and promoting native languages.

Dr. Androulla Athanasiou, Director of the Language Center, highlighted TEPAK’s participation in the EUt+ alliance, an initiative aimed at advancing multilingualism and interculturality across Europe. Through the Office of Multilingualism and Interculturality, the center is dedicated to enhancing language education and strengthening cooperation among European universities.
