EUt+ Research Office (ERO)

The ERO at CUT serves as the central contact point for CUT researchers on all research-related matters within the EUt+ Alliance. It works in close cooperation with the EROs across EUt+ to connect researchers, and provide comprehensive strategic, and forward-looking research support, fostering collaboration, enhancing research capacity, and promoting excellence. The Office’s main functions include:

• Developing and maintaining research profiles for CUT researchers to enhance visibility and foster collaboration opportunities,
• Identifying and informing CUT researchers about open calls based on their research profiles, and assisting them in finding potential research collaborators within the EUt+ Alliance,
• Supporting existing EUt+ Research Institutes/Teams and contributing to the creation of new ones,
• Assisting with the non-academic sections of research proposals, 
• Mapping research activities across the Alliance, etc.

Τhrough its activities, the European Research Office actively enhances CUT’s participation in the EUt+ research ecosystem, contributing to the development of a more connected, innovative, and competitive European Research Area. At the same time, it promotes stronger links and collaboration among the Alliance’s universities, highlighting research excellence and encouraging interdisciplinary cooperation.

Additionally, the EROs use tools developed by CUT within the framework of the EUt+ EXTRAS research project for identifying potential research collaborators. These tools are accessible to all researchers from the universities within the alliance. To access them, please follow the link below.
